Crestron GLA-DT-VS-2 STEINEL Dual Relay Wall Switch Vacancy Sensor

It is the STEINEL DT VS 2, a line voltage wall switch vacancy sensor with two relays. It uses PIR and 40 kHz ultrasonic detection to control bi-level lighting in commercial spaces, with manual ON and automatic OFF operation.

The sensor has two relays, which Crestron describes as bi-level load switching. That allows two lighting loads to be switched separately from one wall switch sensor. Crestron gives bi-level switching in small offices, conference rooms and break rooms as the typical application.

It is a line voltage sensor for lighting control at 120/230/277 VAC, 50/60 Hz. It fits a single-gang NEMA-style standard switch box, and the decorator-style wall plate is supplied by others, so it is not included.

The re-trigger feature turns the load back ON automatically if motion is detected within 30 seconds after the sensor has switched it OFF. Outside that window, the lights are switched back on manually, as this is a manual ON vacancy sensor.

Crestron advises using it in enclosed spaces no larger than 20 ft x 16 ft. It has a 180° coverage pattern, the ultrasonic reach can be adjusted from 25% to 100%, and Switch Link can group up to 4 sensors together.
