Crestron GLA-DT-VS-1 STEINEL Dual Technology Vacancy Sensor, White

It is the STEINEL DT VS 1, a line voltage, single relay vacancy sensor that combines PIR and 40 kHz ultrasonic detection. It is intended to control lighting in commercial spaces, with the lights switched on manually and turned off by the sensor.

Crestron describes it as a vacancy (manual ON) sensor. The lights are switched on by hand, and the sensor handles switching them off, for example through the walk through mode, with an audible alert 10 seconds before the load shuts OFF unless more motion is detected.

It is a line voltage sensor for lighting control at 120/230/277 VAC, 50/60 Hz, with a single relay. It mounts in a single-gang NEMA-style standard switch box, and the decorator-style wall plate is supplied by others.

Crestron gives small offices, conference rooms and break rooms as typical applications, and advises using the sensor in enclosed spaces no larger than 20 ft x 16 ft. It has a 180° coverage pattern and an ultrasonic reach adjustable from 25% to 100%.

Yes. Switch Link communication allows up to 4 sensors to be grouped together. Trigger mode settings also let you choose which sensing technology, PIR, ultrasonic or both, keeps the load ON, and IQ Mode adjusts the ON time delay to how the room is used.
