Crestron GLA-DT-QUATTRO-COM1-24 STEINEL DT Quattro Presence Detector

It is the STEINEL DT Quattro COM1-24, a dual technology presence detector offered by Crestron. It combines PIR and 40 kHz ultrasonic sensing and controls lighting according to presence and a selectable ambient light level, with an integrated force off photocell.

It is a low-voltage sensor that runs on 18-24 VDC/VAC at 30 mA, 50/60 Hz. Crestron lists it for use with a power pack or building automation system. Its blue control output is rated 1 A at 30 VAC/VDC.

For presence detection Crestron gives ultrasonic coverage up to 6 x 6 m (36 sq m) and PIR coverage up to 3 x 3 m (9 sq m). PIR coverage extends to 4 x 4 m radially and 8 x 8 m tangentially.

It mounts to a 4-inch square box, a 4-inch octagon box or a round 3.0 mudring, or directly to the ceiling using quick mount spring tabs. It measures 120 x 120 x 68 mm, is IP20 rated and is UL 2043 plenum rated.

The time delay runs from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, with a pulse mode and an IQ mode that adapts to the usage profile. The light level can be set from 10 to 1000 lux. Manual ON or automatic mode, a momentary or maintained switch input, and ON only or ON and OFF manual switching are also selectable.
