Crestron GL-EXP-DIMU-CN Green Light Universal Dimmer Expansion Module

It is a Crestron Green Light universal dimmer expansion module with a single channel, controlled over Cresnet. It lets you add a dimmed lighting zone without an additional cabinet, and it handles LED, incandescent, electronic and magnetic low-voltage, and 2-wire fluorescent loads up to 16 A.

Crestron lists dimmable LED, incandescent, electronic low-voltage, magnetic low-voltage and 2-wire fluorescent loads. The channel is rated 16 A at 100-277 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The module detects the load type automatically, or you can set forward, reverse or centre phase dimming with switches behind the front cover.

Crestron states that it is UL 924 listed for emergency lighting control applications. It also has a low-voltage contact closure input, and when a closure is sensed the module goes into override mode. A built-in air gap relay is included as well.

It communicates over Cresnet as a Cresnet slave, using four captive screw terminals. The Cresnet port carries communications only and does not use Cresnet power. A yellow NET LED shows Cresnet network communication, and a red ERR LED signals error conditions with blinking patterns.

It is surface mounted and must sit upright on a vertical surface, with at least 153 mm (6 in) of space above and below. The NEMA Type 1 enclosure is galvanised steel with a removable front cover, and it measures 223 mm high, 163 mm wide and 81 mm deep.
