Crestron DIN-SACN-DMX ENTTEC Ethergate Mk2 Ethernet to DMX Converter

It is an Ethernet to DMX converter for DIN rail mounting, also sold by ENTTEC as the DIN Ethergate Mk2. It converts between DMX512-A and the sACN, Art-Net and ESP protocols, which lets a Crestron 3-Series or 4-Series lighting control system work with DMX lighting fixtures and controllers.

Yes. In output mode it works as a single universe Ethernet to DMX node and can merge up to two DMX sources using HTP or LTP. In input mode it works as a single universe DMX to Ethernet node. Each of the two DMX terminal blocks can be used as an output or an input.

It can be powered by Power over Ethernet to IEEE 802.3af, or by a 12 to 24 VDC supply connected to its 2-pin 3.5 mm terminal block, where it is rated at 7 W. A power supply is not included, so it needs a PoE port or a separate DC supply.

On the network side it supports sACN, Art-Net, ESP and RDM. On the DMX side it supports USITT DMX512-A and ANSI E1.20 RDM, and RDM can be carried over Art-Net. It can use broadcast or unicast, although unicast is only available in input mode.

It mounts on a TS35 DIN rail and occupies 4 DIN module spaces, which is 72 mm. The ABS plastic housing is 78 mm wide, 100 mm deep and 31 mm high without the mounting clip, or 37 mm with it, and weighs 109 g.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DIN-SACN-DMX on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DIN-SACN-DMX develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
