Crestron DIN-DMX-2UNIVERSE Lighting Playback Controller, 2 Universe

It is a Pharos Lighting Playback Controller (LPC), an all-in-one control solution for themed entertainment and LED lighting installations. It plays back independent timelines and scenes across 1,024 DMX/eDMX channels in two universes, and supports real-time manual overrides and flexible multizone control.

It supports LEDs in any colour configuration, including RGB, RGBW, 8-bit, 16-bit and tuneable white, plus moving heads, yokes and scanners, fountain jets and generic fixtures such as downlights, spotlights and uplights through controllable dimmers, relays or ballasts. Pharos offers a cloud library of over 13,000 fixture profiles.

It has two DMX512 ports (USITT E1.11-2008) for up to 1,024 channels, with RDM discovery and addressing via Designer software. Network outputs include sACN (USITT E1.31), Art-Net, KiNET and Pathport, and multiple protocols can run at the same time. DALI is available through the RIO D, supplied separately.

Playback starts automatically when the controller receives power. Shows can also be triggered by contact closures, digital and analogue inputs, the battery-backed real-time clock and astronomical events such as sunrise and sunset, Ethernet messages, RS-232 or RS-485 serial data, MIDI, and changes in DMX or eDMX input.

It runs on 9 to 48 VDC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af) and draws 4 W typical. The unit mounts in an 8 unit wide DIN rail enclosure on a 35 mm rail and measures 90 mm high, 144 mm wide and 58 mm deep. A removable SD card is supplied for data storage.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DIN-DMX-2UNIVERSE on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DIN-DMX-2UNIVERSE develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
