Crestron DIN-2MC2 DIN Rail Motor Control, 2 Channels, 2 Feeds

It is a DIN rail motor control module with two channels and two feeds. It controls conventional three-wire bidirectional motors for drapes, shades, projection screens, lifts, skylights and gates, giving up/down or open/close control, and it communicates with a Crestron control system over Cresnet.

Each channel supports a conventional three-wire bidirectional motor of up to 1/2 HP at voltages up to 240 V. The module total is 1 HP at 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, and the module supports 120 to 240 V operation.

It connects to a Crestron control system over the Cresnet network, and Crestron lists programmable functionality via the DIN-AP2. Its two paralleled Cresnet ports allow several DIN Rail Series modules to be daisy-chained, and it draws 3 W (0.125 A at 24 VDC) from Cresnet.

It lets an external low-voltage contact closure momentarily override the control system programme and set each channel output to its override preset state. The override states can be set and saved locally from the front panel, or remotely through software.

It is 6M wide for DIN rail mounting and measures 94.2 mm high, 106 mm wide and 59.5 mm deep, weighing 210 g. The housing is light grey polycarbonate, with screw terminals along the top and bottom and the controls and indicators on the centre front panel.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DIN-2MC2 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DIN-2MC2 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
