Crestron CSAI-PWS40 24 VDC 40 W Power Pack for CSM-QMTDC Motors

It is an international, wall-mounted power pack with a regulated 24 VDC output rated at 40 W. Crestron designed it to power one CSM-QMTDC international series roller shade or drapery track motor, and it is well suited to providing local power for motors that communicate over the infiNET EX network.

It is compatible with the international CSM-QMTDC series of roller shade and drapery track motors. Crestron states that only one CSM-QMTDC international series motor should be connected to each power pack, so plan one CSAI-PWS40 for every motor you want to power this way.

The input is 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, drawing up to 1 A, through an ungrounded AC plug. The output is a regulated 24 VDC rated at 40 W (1.66 A), delivered on an attached 8 ft (2.43 m) cable with an inline ferrite core and flying leads.

It is a wall-mount unit that plugs straight into an AC outlet, with a white 94V-0 polycarbonate housing. It measures 74 mm high, 43 mm wide and 53 mm deep, projects 39 mm (1.54 in) from the outlet and weighs 182 g. The plug type is selectable using adapter inserts.

No. Crestron specifies it for indoor use only. The rated operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F), with humidity from 15% to 95% RH, non-condensing, so it needs a dry indoor outlet within that range.
