Crestron CSA-PWS10S-HUB-ENET 10-Motor Power Supply with Cresnet Hub

It is a 10-motor power supply for Crestron Quiet Motor Technology roller shade and drapery system motors, with a home run to each motor. It also contains an Ethernet to Cresnet bridge and a built-in 5-segment Cresnet hub, so power, Cresnet distribution and the Ethernet link for the shading system are combined in one unit.

Up to 10 in total: 10 Crestron roller shade motors, 10 drapery system motors, or a combination of the two up to 10. Each motor is wired as a home run to the power supply and has its own overcurrent protection.

Adding one or more of these units to a Crestron Shading Solutions system lets Cresnet be distributed over high-speed Ethernet. Crestron states that the greater bandwidth of Ethernet reduces latency for improved speed and performance, and the bridge can make use of a facility's existing LAN infrastructure.

Its built-in diagnostics can automatically shut down any branch with a fault and identify the exact problem, such as Y shorted to Z, Z shorted to GND or an overload, without a multimeter. It can trigger events in the control programme based on detected problems, and power to each motor can be cycled remotely.

It can be surface mounted or mounted in a CAEN enclosure. It is convection cooled, so it runs silently, and it has clear diagnostic LED indicators plus local shade and drapery master controls on the unit.
