Crestron CLXI-2DIM8 8 Channel Dimmer Module, 2 Feeds, 230V

It is the international version of Crestron's 8 channel dimmer module with 2 feeds, for 230V lighting. It is made up of two independent 4 channel dimmers in a single module and dims incandescent, magnetic low-voltage, neon/cold cathode and dimmable 2-wire fluorescent loads as part of a Crestron lighting system.

Each channel is rated for 2300 Watts. The module as a whole is rated for 5980 Watts when it is fed from two separate 16 Amp feeds. Every channel output has an air-gap relay, provided so that individual circuits can be serviced.

It occupies a single module space in any CAEN or CAENIB automation enclosure. High-voltage wiring terminates on a CLTI-2DIM8 terminal block, which is sold separately and lets the wiring be terminated at any time before the module itself is fitted.

An override feature lets each channel be adjusted to a preset state during setup. If Cresnet communications are disrupted for any reason, a simple contact closure can be used to activate those override presets. Crestron lists the PAC2 and PAC2M as the controllers for CLXI modules.

Crestron uses a zero-crossing detection technique backed by its own firmware to minimise lamp flicker. The CLXI-Series dimmers are also built with 40 Amp triacs, oversized heat sinks, split-bobbin transformers and ground-referenced electronics.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CLXI-2DIM8 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CLXI-2DIM8 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
