Crestron CLWI-1SW2EX In-Wall 2-Channel Switch, 230VAC, infiNET EX

It is an in-wall 2-channel switch for 230 Volt applications that gives native Crestron control of up to two individual lights or other switched loads from a single gang. It communicates over infiNET EX wireless and can also act as a keypad for lighting scenes and distributed audio functions.

It uses infiNET EX, Crestron's two-way RF wireless technology, which works as a 2.4 GHz mesh network. Each infiNET EX device acts as an expander and passes commands on to other devices, so the switch needs no physical control wiring back to the rest of the system.

Yes. The buttons are field-replaceable and engravable, and they clip on with positive snap-on fittings that need no tools. The switch can be configured with up to six buttons, so the layout or engraving can be updated later if the room's décor or use changes.

Both part numbers are the In-Wall 2-Channel Switch, 230VAC, in different finishes: the CLWI-1SW2EX-W is white and the CLWI-1SW2EX-ANTH is anthracite. When replacing a unit, check the part number on the existing switch so that the new one matches.

Crestron publishes a Lighting Fixture Compatibility page that shows which Crestron lighting devices have been tested and are compatible with third party lighting fixtures. Checking that page for the fittings on each of the two channels is the reliable way to confirm a match before ordering.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CLWI-1SW2EX on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
