About the Crestron CEN-ODT-C-POE

Two detection technologies work together: passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic at 40 kHz, with a 360 degree coverage pattern across up to 2,000 sq ft. Separate LEDs light for PIR detection (red) and ultrasonic detection (green). Crestron presents the sensor as a way to reduce energy consumption and to add to what lighting, AV and building management systems can do.

A single RJ-45 10/100 Ethernet port carries both data and power: the sensor is an IEEE 802.3af PoE powered device using 4 W at most. It integrates with the Crestron XiO Cloud service and offers enterprise-grade security. A NET LED shows when there is no LAN connection to the host, and a blue LED lights when the host sends an identify command, which is acknowledged with the SETUP button behind the front cover.

The white plastic housing mounts to a 4 inch (102 mm) octagon box or into a 3-1/2 inch (88 mm) hole cut with the template provided, and mounting screws are included. It is 122 mm in diameter and 81 mm deep overall, but projects 25 mm from the ceiling once fitted. It weighs 240 g and is covered under the Crestron standard limited warranty.
