Crestron CCC-BYOD-KIT Collab Compute Bring Your Own Device Kit

It adds Bring Your Own Device functionality to Crestron Collab Compute devices. When a laptop is connected to the kit's UC Presentation Transmitter (UC-PR), the room switches to the laptop's meeting platform, and when it is disconnected the room returns to the Collab Compute's native platform.

The UC-PR accepts HDMI or USB Type-C, with the USB Type-C port carrying DisplayPort 1.2 video and audio and charging the laptop at up to 60 W. The transmitter sends the signal on as HDMI over CAT5 at 1080p, with HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 2.2 support.

Crestron lists the CCS-UC-1-X tabletop conference device as compatible with the kit for BYOD applications. The laptop can connect to the CCS-UC-1-X by HDMI and USB, and its TX OUT port connects to the HD-CONV-USB-260, which is included with the CCC-BYOD-KIT.

The UC-PR runs from its included power supply, rated 24 VDC at 3.75 A (90 W) with a 100 to 240 VAC input. The USB Type-C port can charge a connected device at up to 60 W.

The UC-PR has a black metal chassis with integral mounting flanges and vents on the top, front, bottom and sides. It can stand freely or attach to a single rack rail, and it measures 40 mm (1.58 in) high, 235 mm (9.25 in) wide and 213 mm (8.37 in) deep.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CCC-BYOD-KIT on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CCC-BYOD-KIT develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
