About the Crestron AMP-X750

Each of the three output channels has a rotary selector for 250 W into 4 to 8 ohms, 500 W into 8 ohms, or 70 V or 100 V operation at 500 W. Total simultaneous output across all channels will not exceed 750 W, so channel settings need to fit within that figure. In 70 V or 100 V mode a high-pass filter is applied at 80 Hz. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz ±0.5 dB, with a signal-to-noise ratio above 103 dBA.

Every channel has a balanced input on a 3-pin 3.5 mm terminal block and an unbalanced RCA input, and a BUS input and buffered BUS output on paired RCA connectors let one signal feed several amplifiers. Rotary input select controls choose RCA, balanced, BUS left/right or BUS mono for each channel, with screwdriver-adjustable gain alongside. Speaker outputs are captive 2-pin 5.08 mm plugs with screw locking retainers for up to 12 AWG wire.

Signal sensing brings the amplifier out of standby as soon as audio reaches its inputs. In Power Saver mode it sleeps after 25 minutes without signal and typically wakes in 0.5 s, and Always On mode is available on the same switch. A dry contact closure on the REMOTE terminal places it in standby. The convection-cooled metal chassis is 1 RU high, 483 mm wide and 370 mm deep, and stacks with other Crestron AMP series products.
