Logitech's 8 October 2026 launch centres on the Logitech Rally Bar 2, a second generation video bar that Logitech says is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet, alongside two new touch panels, Tap IP 2 and Tap Scheduler 2. A larger modular package, Rally System 2 Pro, follows, and Logitech gives summer 2027 for the system, RoomMate 2 Pro and the Rally Speaker 2 lineup (Rally Speaker 2, Rally Speaker 2 Pro and Rally Speaker 2 Max).

The short version of the launch
Logitech set out the whole range in one release on Business Wire, titled "Logitech Unveils Its Biggest Enterprise Launch Ever". AV Interactive, the website of AV Magazine, covered it on 8 October 2026 with the headline "Logitech unveils its biggest enterprise product launch ever". We have worked only from Logitech's own words, and from its Rally Bar 2 product page, as they stood at the time of writing.
There are really two launches here. The first is a straight replacement cycle for everyday rooms: a new bar, a new in-room controller and a new door panel. The second is a modular kit for big rooms, which Logitech says simplifies multi-vendor setups in complex and divisible rooms, but which you cannot buy until next summer.
What is new in the Logitech Rally Bar 2
Camera. Logitech says a custom-designed lens and 1-inch sensor improve image clarity. On the product page, the diagonal view is 115 degrees, with 4x HD digital zoom.
Processing. The bar runs on a Qualcomm chipset which, Logitech claims, offers four times more edge AI processing power than various other video bars on the market. That is the maker's comparison, not a test we have run.
Audio. Logitech describes a four speaker system with six beamforming microphones and its Right Sound 3 processing. In its words, "AI-powered Right Sound 3 brings studio-quality audio to meeting rooms."
Sensing. The release says the bar detects occupancy and senses its environment, with the stated aim of giving leaders occupancy data for property decisions.
Size. The product page gives a width of 860 mm, a height of 97 mm, a depth of 93 mm and a weight of 4.8 kg, with one USB-C port and Ethernet.
The large room system, and why it is a 2027 decision
Logitech lists Rally System 2 Pro as including RoomMate 2 Pro, which Logitech describes as a Qualcomm-powered compute box driving as many as three 4K screens, in Android, PC or BYOD rooms. The list also includes the Rally AI Camera Pro, which puts an optical PTZ camera alongside a wide-angle 1-inch sensor, and three speakers: Rally Speaker 2, a networked beaming speaker with seven drivers; Rally Speaker 2 Pro with 32 micro-drivers; and Rally Speaker 2 Max with 64 micro-drivers for extra large 20 metre rooms. Logitech Link joins Logitech devices using Category cabling, and Right Sight 3 adds multi-camera tracking; its camera switching arrives free through CollabOS in the second half of 2027, Logitech says.
The release does not state platform certification for Rally System 2 Pro. Until Logitech publishes that, treat it as unconfirmed.
Who should act now in Dublin
If your rooms in the Docklands or Sandyford were fitted with first generation Rally Bars a few years ago, Rally Bar 2 is the like for like replacement Logitech is pointing you towards. If you are planning a divisible training room or a large boardroom in Ballsbridge, Citywest or around St Stephen's Green and the building work lands before summer 2027, you face a timing choice. And if you run a mix of Teams and Google Meet rooms, our earlier note on Google Meet hardware is a useful companion.
A planning checklist for your rooms
- List every room with its current bar, compute, controller, scheduling panel and platform, so you can see which ones Rally Bar 2 and Tap IP 2 would replace.
- Measure the existing mount and joinery against Rally Bar 2's 860 mm width before ordering.
- Ask your IT team about network ports, power and device approval for Tap IP 2 and Tap Scheduler 2.
- Confirm the certification for your exact configuration on Logitech's compatibility document.
- For large or divisible rooms, decide whether to fit now or to install cabling and containment ready for Rally System 2 Pro.
- If you already use Logitech Spot sensors, read our Logitech Spot integrations post before adding another source of room data.
