About the Crestron ZUMMESH-KP10AMBATT
The keypad has four pushbuttons labelled ON, VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN and OFF. ON and OFF control the power of the display device, and the volume buttons raise or lower its audio. A bi-colour LED lights green to confirm a button press, or red on a button press when the battery is low, and it is also used during wireless setup.
Connecting the keypad to the presentation system requires a ZUMMESH-AVBRIDGE AV Bridge, sold separately, which connects to the AirMedia device over USB and acts as the wireless transceiver for the keypad. The link uses Zum Mesh 2-way RF at 2.4 GHz with AES-128 encryption, and typical range is 15 m (50 ft), subject to site conditions.
Power comes from one CR2032 3 V lithium coin cell, included, with a battery life of five years or more. The plastic keypad is 109 mm high, 45 mm wide and 11 mm deep and weighs 65 g. It fixes to a smooth, flat wall with the included double-sided tape or with screws (not included), or mounts to a single-gang or multi-gang electrical box, alone or beside other decorator-style devices. A decorator-style faceplate (Crestron FP-G series or equivalent) is required and sold separately.
