About the Crestron CM2-KPCN

The keypad takes two to six buttons in small, medium and large sizes, and the bottom four can be programmed as side-to-side rockers. Button events are programmable for normal, tap, double-tap and press and hold. When connected to a Crestron control processor it can trigger remote actions, and it is fully programmable through a Crestron control system and compatible with Crestron Home OS.

Engraved buttons have a full colour RGB LED backlight and indicators, with white adjustable between 2000K and 8000K. Six RGB backlit text regions and six RGB indicator regions give feedback, optionally engraved indicators come in two different aesthetics, and an ambient light sensor dims the backlight automatically with separate day and night modes.

Power and communication come from Cresnet, in Cresnet client mode, using 2 W (83 mA at 24VDC). Dual paralleled Cresnet ports make daisy-chaining simple, and two input ports accept external sensors, including 10K NTC temperature sensors. The keypad is 18 mm deep and fits a 1- to 4-gang wall box of the type Crestron specifies, with CM2-FP-G series or decorator-style faceplates. The faceplate is not included.

The CM2-KPCN-W-S is White Smooth with preinstalled default engravings on six small buttons. CM2-KPCN ENGRAVED models have their engravings, button configurations and colours or finishes specified in the custom engravings file. The keypad is available in eight colour and finish options.

What size is the keypad and is a faceplate included?

It measures 103 mm high, 45 mm wide and 18 mm deep, and an 89 mm (3.5 in) electrical box depth is recommended. The faceplate is not included: it takes Cameo 2 multi-gang faceplates from the CM2-FP-G series, sold separately, or any decorator-style faceplate.

Does the CM2-KPCN come with a warranty?

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CM2-KPCN develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
