About the Crestron MMX-6-USB
Each of the six balanced microphone inputs has its own 48V phantom power switch for condenser microphones, a screwdriver-adjustable level control and a bus assign switch that sends the input to the left, right or both channels of the stereo output. Input and master levels adjust from -80 to +10 dB, and bi-colour LEDs show signal presence and clipping. A 100 Hz low-cut output filter can be switched in.
The mixer has two kinds of output. The USB 2.0 device port connects to a codec, or directly to a Macintosh or Windows PC as an audio input for software applications, and a 5 m (15 ft) Mini-B to Type A cable is included. The stereo line-level output, on a 5-pin terminal block, can be wired balanced or unbalanced to a line-level input on other audio equipment.
The unit uses Crestron's Integrator Friendly Enclosure (IFE) in the medium form factor, in black and blue plastic. It can stand freely, stack with other IFE devices, or mount on a surface or 35 mm DIN rail with the bracket supplied. The RMK-IFE-1U kit, sold separately, fits multiple IFE devices in a 1RU rack space. Power comes from the included PW-1215WU 12 VDC power pack.

What is the Crestron MMX-6-USB?
It is a 6-channel microphone mixer and preamp. It takes up to six dynamic or condenser microphones and mixes them to a stereo USB 2.0 output and a balanced analogue line-level output, so the microphones can feed a codec, a computer or other audio equipment.
Does the MMX-6-USB provide phantom power?
Yes. Each of the six microphone inputs has its own 48V phantom power switch, so condenser microphones can be used on any input. The switches are screwdriver-selectable, and a red LED for each input shows when phantom power is enabled.
What can the MMX-6-USB connect to?
Its USB 2.0 device port connects to a codec or to a Macintosh or Windows PC, where the mix is available as an audio input for software applications. Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the MMX-6-USB on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
Does the MMX-6-USB come with a warranty?
Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the MMX-6-USB develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.
Can I buy the MMX-6-USB without installation?
