About the Crestron IV-CAM-I12D
The IV-CAM-I12D pairs two 4K PTZ cameras with 12x optical zoom with a 4K reference camera that has a 110° horizontal view. Its integrated microphone array provides spatial audio detection, and visual AI moves the cameras to follow the active speaker at 5 to 25 ft (1.5 to 7.6 m), with no external system required. Group Framing, Conversation Mode and Intelligent Switching are also available, with up to 512 presets.
Video is output over HDMI at up to 4K30 and over a USB-C (USB 3.0) connection to the host at up to 4K30, with RTSP streaming as well. A single Ethernet connection handles viewing and control, and RS-232/RS-485 serial control is supported using VISCA, PELCO-D and PELCO-P. A balanced analogue audio reference input and AES67 input allow it to work with a variety of audio systems, and it serves as the primary camera for Intelligent Switching.
Crestron lists a power pack as its power source: the PW-2420RU, supplying 24 VDC at 2.5 A. An i12D wall mount bracket is included, and there are 1/4 in threaded mount holes. The unit is 500 mm wide, 193 mm high and 155 mm deep, and a lightbar shows the current camera status. Setup uses Crestron 1 Beyond Camera Manager 2 on a Windows computer.
