KNX installer work around Co. Limerick
Limerick work takes in family homes in Castletroy and Raheen and period houses around Adare. A KNX system planned at first fix gives each room its own heating and lighting, with one keypad at the door to switch the whole house off.
Typical things we connect
- Motion and presence sensors in halls, utility rooms and landings
- Outside lights for the driveway, patio and boundary walls
- Tunable white and RGB strips on DALI drivers
- Siri, Alexa and Google voice commands via 1Home
- Lights that come on and off at random while you are on holiday
The 1Home KNX server sits in your comms cabinet and lets the family use the apps they already know, from an official 1Home partner.
According to the KNX Association, over 500 companies build KNX products, so no single brand owns your house. Start with our KNX installer overview, then look at smart lighting and whole home automation.
The way a job runs
We look at your drawings, agree a room by room schedule and price it in an interactive proposal. Our team lays the green KNX cable at first fix, commissions in ETS and saves the project file to your client portal.
Questions we are often asked
Will KNX lower energy use?
It helps. Presence sensors, window contacts and zoned heating mean lights and heat are used only where they are needed.
Who programmes the system?
Our own engineers programme every KNX system in ETS; we do not subcontract it.
