Building or renovating in Cork? Bring in a KNX installer at the drawing stage: 1Install, a certified KNX Partner, plans KNX for period houses, coastal homes and new family homes while the walls are still open.
Meet your Cork KNX installer
Our own Cork team handles every Cork KNX project from survey to support. Work runs from Victorian and Georgian houses in Montenotte and Blackrock to new family homes around Douglas and Carrigaline and coastal houses near Kinsale, where KNX shading and heating earn their keep.
Typical KNX features
- Heat pump and underfloor zones in each room
- Electric blinds that close by themselves on bright afternoons
- Motion and presence sensors in halls, utility rooms and landings
- A goodnight button on the landing that turns the house off
- Siri, Alexa and Google voice commands via 1Home
Voice control comes from the 1Home KNX server: say the word to Alexa, Siri or Google and the KNX scene runs, with no subscription to pay.
There are more than 8,000 certified devices on the KNX Association list, from switches to weather stations. Budgeting? Our smart home cost guide helps, alongside the KNX installer page and Control4.
Our process
Drawings, a priced interactive proposal, cable at first fix and programming at the end, then 1Install Care for changes and support.
