Home cinema installation in Co. Kilkenny, with a room that looks like part of your home rather than an add on.
A cinema has to look right as well as sound right. The colour of the walls, the seats, the carpet and the lighting all decide whether the room feels like part of the house, so we choose them with you, and with your interior designer if you have one.
Finishes that belong in the house
In one cinema room we built, we worked with the interior designers so that the acoustic fabric, the lighting and the shelving suited the rest of the house. Green recliners, a soft grey carpet and lit wooden shelving give the room a warm, finished look even with the screen off. The shelving sits where a window used to be, so the room gained a feature rather than losing one.

Home cinemas across Kilkenny
Kilkenny homes range from period houses to large new builds, and we plan each system around the property and your budget. We work in and around Kilkenny City, Loughmacask, Thomastown, Callan and Castlecomer, where family homes often want whole home Wi-Fi, a media room and lighting control. Kilkenny is covered by our own engineers from survey to support.
Choices we make together
- Fabric colours and textures for the walls
- Seat styles, colours and the number of rows
- Carpet, shelving and joinery
- Lighting colours and scenes, through lighting control
Questions we are often asked
Can you work with our interior designer?
Yes. We often work alongside designers and architects, and on the cinema room shown here the interior designers helped decide how the walls and lighting would look.
Will a cinema suit a period house?
It can. In a period house we often build a media room that keeps the original features, with the speakers hidden and the cables run out of sight.
Do you cover all of Co. Kilkenny?
Yes, including Kilkenny City, Thomastown, Callan, Castlecomer and Bennettsbridge, and the rest of the county.
