About the Crestron CM2-KPFCN

The keypad takes two to six buttons in small, medium and large sizes, with the bottom four programmable as side-to-side rockers. Button events are programmable for normal, tap, double-tap and press and hold, and when connected to a Crestron control processor it can trigger remote actions. It is fully programmable through a Crestron control system and compatible with Crestron Home OS.

Engraved buttons have a full colour RGB LED backlight and indicators, with white adjustable between 2000K and 8000K, and optionally engraved indicators come in two different aesthetics. Six RGB backlit text regions and six RGB indicator regions give feedback. An ambient light sensor dims the backlight automatically, with separate day and night modes.

It can go directly into a drywall (plasterboard) cutout using the template supplied with it, and other mounting options use the MMK-CM2-KPFCN or the BB-CM2-KPFCN backbox, both sold separately. Cresnet supplies power and communication (2 W, 83 mA at 24VDC), dual paralleled Cresnet ports allow daisy-chaining, and two input ports take external sensors, including 10K NTC temperature sensors.

The CM2-KPFCN-W-T is White Textured with preinstalled default engravings on six small buttons. CM2-KPFCN ENGRAVED models have their engravings, button configurations and colours or finishes specified in the custom engravings file. Both are the same flush Cresnet keypad.

Can the keypad connect to sensors?

Yes. Two control input ports accept external sensors, including 10K NTC temperature sensors. They are on a 4-pin 3.5 mm detachable terminal block with two digital/analogue input ports and a ground, and the digital input is rated for 0 to 24VDC.
