The brief
The oak framed living space, with its vaulted ceiling and walls of glass, needed technology that would not spoil the architecture: lighting scenes for every mood, music in the main rooms and a TV that fits the space.
What we did
- Crestron Home as the control system, set up room by room: kitchen, dining room, family room, games room and more.
- Crestron lighting control with a Green Light panel, so the oak frame, wall lights and downlights all have their own scenes.
- Crestron touch screens on the wall, plus control from phones and tablets.
- Ceiling speakers, carefully set out with a laser level so they line up perfectly, for music around the home.
- TV installation in the vaulted room, with the cabling hidden.
The result
The owners walk in and touch one button for the lighting and music they want. The oak frame is lit beautifully in the evening, and every room is easy to use.
