The brief

The client wanted a living room with real wow factor, planned in 3D first so they could see it before we started. The room was taken back to the studwork and rebuilt around the lighting and the media wall.

What we did

  • 3D design visuals of the room, agreed with the client before work began.
  • Walls and ceiling rebuilt, with the LED slot lighting set out with lasers so every line is straight and evenly spaced.
  • A media wall with a built in fire, TV and hidden cabling.
  • Control4 smart home control for the lighting, TV and music, with simple scenes for evenings and movie nights.

The result

The finished room looks just like the design: dramatic in the evening, calm in the day, and all controlled with one button.
