The brief
The owners wanted one simple system to run the whole house: the cinema room, TVs in the main living spaces, lighting inside and out, and a network that everything could rely on. It all had to look as good as the house, with the technology out of sight.
What we did
- A central Crestron equipment rack, built, labelled and tested in our workshop and on site, with power protection and a clean, serviceable layout.
- A home cinema room with a large fixed frame screen and a projector, fitted and calibrated by our engineers.
- Video distribution to the TVs around the house, so every screen can watch any source.
- House and garden lighting control, with the front of the house, pathways, terraces and trees all lit in scenes that switch on at dusk.
- Programming and handover, so the family can run the house from keypads, touch screens and their phones.
The result
The house now runs from one system that the family actually enjoys using. Walk in and the lights are already set, the cinema starts with one button, and at night the garden and the front of the house are beautifully lit.
