Commercial AV Maintenance and Support in Clare

Commercial AV maintenance and support from 1Install keeps meeting rooms, boardrooms and public spaces working on Crestron, Q-SYS, Neat, Microsoft Teams Rooms and the rest of a modern workplace AV estate. Our engineers look after systems we installed and systems we inherit, with remote support first and an engineer on site when a room needs one.

Remote support

A room down right now?

Start a secure remote support session and one of our engineers can connect to your room, diagnose the problem and often fix it straight away. Call us first on 01 906 9326 so we know you are waiting.

AV maintenance and support for the platforms in your rooms

Meeting room with a wall display and a touch controller on the table, the kind of space AV maintenance and support keeps ready for every callWorkplace AV is now a network of devices: cameras, microphones, processors, displays and touch panels, all running firmware that changes every few months. Planned AV maintenance and support keeps that estate consistent, so a room behaves the same on Friday afternoon as it did on Monday morning.

  • Crestron: 1Install is a Crestron Elite Partner, and our founder, Kieran McGuire, holds every Crestron certification. We support Crestron Flex, touch panels, DM NVX and control processors, and manage firmware through Crestron's XiO Cloud, the platform for deploying, monitoring and managing Crestron workplace devices from one dashboard.
  • Q-SYS: Q-SYS cores, network cameras and audio, including firmware and design file changes.
  • Neat: Neat Bar, Neat Board and Neat Pad for Microsoft Teams and Zoom rooms.
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms: room accounts, updates and peripherals. See Teams Rooms installation.
  • Audio: Biamp, Shure and Sennheiser ceiling microphones, processors and speakers.
  • Video bars and cameras: Logitech, Poly, Yealink, Cisco and Jabra.
  • Displays and LED walls: Samsung, LG, Hisense and Avocor displays, interactive displays and LED walls.
  • Networks: the switches, cabling and wireless the AV relies on.

How cover works

  • Break fix: an engineer on site within an agreed response level when something fails. See AV break fix support.
  • Planned maintenance: scheduled visits to check every room, update firmware and test calls end to end.
  • Remote checks: devices checked through the manufacturer's management platform, so many faults are found and fixed before the next meeting.
  • One ticket per call out: every fault logged in the Client Portal with the site, equipment, brand and fault type, and a record of the fix.

We publish what good cover looks like in our guide to commercial AV break fix, and the figures worth asking for in AV support KPIs.

Standard rates

  • Remote support: €110 per hour plus VAT
  • On site visits: €110 per hour plus VAT, with a minimum job of 4 hours (€440 plus VAT)
  • Consultations and surveys: €440 plus VAT, covering up to 4 hours with an engineer

Support is provided Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. Contract cover for several sites, with agreed response levels per site, is priced after a survey of the rooms.

Taking over AV rooms installed by someone else

  • Room audit: every room listed with its equipment, firmware and accounts
  • Account takeover: Crestron, Q-SYS, Teams Rooms and device management accounts moved to your control
  • Firmware baseline: rooms brought to the same stable versions
  • Documentation: drawings, passwords held securely and a fix history from day one

Questions we are often asked

Do you support AV rooms another integrator installed?

Yes. After a room audit we take over Crestron, Q-SYS, Neat, Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms estates installed by other companies.

What is the difference between break fix and AV maintenance and support?

Break fix responds when something fails. AV maintenance and support adds planned visits, firmware management and monitoring, so fewer faults reach your users.

Can you cover offices in several counties?

Yes. Cover is agreed per site, with a response level set for each location.

Can most faults be fixed remotely?

Many can, through a remote session or the manufacturer's management platform. When a visit is needed, the engineer arrives with the room's history.

How do we report a fault?

Through the customer support portal or the Client Portal, and a ticket is raised straight away.
